Hello, my name is David Bishop and I'm the owner of Kobold Research Labs. Over the past 20 years I have led many engineering initiatives across multiple technology sectors, with a focus on designing and delivering high-performance solutions. I pride myself on being able to deliver reliable, scalable, and innovative products on time and under budget.

Now with the rise of AI, unpredictable and dangerous behavior is inevitable. Kobold Research Labs was created to identify and correct such behavior. Over the past 2 years I have developed a comprehensive battery of tests to analyze large language models such as GPT-5, Llama, and Gemini. The goal of the tests is to minimize incidents like Tay AI, or Kumma. I know this sounds like an incredibly difficult task, but together I believe we can do it.

Note: Kobold Research Labs is independently owned and operated. I work from within the United States and wish for it to remain that way, but I am willing to travel. All contracts have a minimum length of 6 weeks. Kobold Research Labs is also not associated with KoboldAI.
